Compare T-Mobile Prepaid Phone Plans

If you are looking at prepaid cell phones, it's probably a really good idea since there are a ton of really great deals out there.

T-Mobile has its own deals out there.  Compare the T-Mobile prepaid plans against one another and see if one of them works for you.

We wrote a few days ago about the new T-Mobile Prepaid BlackBerry plan.  The is called the Complete plan and might be a good option for those who want a prepaid phone but also like to have a high tech smartphone.

One of the phones on that plan is the BlackBerry Curve 8520, which is a very good looking and user-friendly phone.  Read more details on T-Mobile BlackBerry.

Prepaid Blackberry Plan from T-Mobile

This is for Blackberry fans.  Those of you out there who love prepaid and who also love the popular smartphone, you can now get a T-Mobile prepaid Blackberry .

This is exciting news and comes on the heels of T-Mobile's announcement of its new prepaid "Even More Plus" plan which resulted from the long gestating "Project Black."

The new T-Mobile prepaid plans for Blackberry range in price from $50 to $79.99, which seems like decent pricing.  If you already use a Blackberry, then you are probably already used to paying relatively higher monthly rates, so paying similar or even a little less and having what you might call the luxury of a prepaid plan puts the cherry on top.

Blackberry Curve 8520 is one of the handsets that works on the T-Mobile plan.  If you purchase this phone (at $299), the first month's service fee (between $50 and $79 depending on your options) is waived.

T-Mobile's New 'No-Contract' Prepaid Plans Released

T-Mobile is taking steps to become even more relevant in the prepaid cell phone plan market, as competition from smaller specialty wireless providers become increasingly stronger.

The big competitor really is Straight Talk from TracFone (and run as an MVNO on Verizon's network coverage).  News earlier this month that this brand will be sold at Wal-Mart bolstered its image a little.

T-Mobile's new no-contract plan is an unlimited plan.  It is offering a $79.99 plan that include unlimited calls, text, and web browsing.  This is not as competitive as some might have thought (considering fears of a price war) but is  20% savings over its standard unlimited plan, plus there is no contract.

What has been known as "Project Dark" has now been unveiled.  Below are details of the no contract plans.

Motorola Cliq Android Phone Comes to T-Mobile

Motorola will be releasing the Cliq smartphone this year for use on Google Android phones on the T-Mobile network. If you believe the marketing materials or have read any Cliq reviews, than you might come away with the conclusion that it is a revolutionary phone. This is not the first time anyone has heard such proclamations regarding a new smartphone before its release.

They also say that the Cliq is the first truly "social" phone,
which begs the question: wasn't the very first phone the first social phone? There is nothing more social than actually speaking to another human being via your voice. But what Motorola means is that the Cliq integrates well with social media sites like Twitter, LinkedIn, and of course, Facebook, all in a very stylish way. When you receive calls, all kinds of information pops up onto the Cliq's screen. You can see the caller's latest Tweets and Facebook updates at at glance as they're calling. It's sort of cool, but you have to figure there's going to be some elements of information overload.

But the Cliq seems to be picking up steam as pre-orders will be available on T-Mobile's website on October 15.
You can head over to the website and sign up for a reminder email to let you know the second the phone goes on sale online. The new much-awaited smartphone will be available in T-Mobile retail stores a few days later. Smartphones are getting more and more advanced every few months, but you have to wonder if Motorola's Cliq will really have that much of an impact on the cell phone market. Will it reach the heights of the iPhone and become a part of tech and popular culture at once like the game-changing phone from Apple? Probably not. But it may be useful and fun to use.

The Cliq will sell for $199 with a two-year contract and the appropriate data packages that work with the phone.
That's an investment for your daily talk piece, but if you are a data hound and like your high-end electronics, it may be worth looking at. This phone may be of interest to those people who love to update their Twitter and Facebook accounts on the go and have the need to stay connected at every moment of the day.

The phone is well-designed and has a stylish quality to it, so if you do buy one of these phones, you will probably feel pretty good pulling it out of your pocket during a meeting.

New T-Mobile Prepaid Samsung Underwhelming

A new handset for T-Mobile prepaid phone plans, the Samsung T659, has been released to not much acclaim.

Prepaid Reviews says it looks a little outdated and not so new, and with a price tag right around $200, it's not too impressive.

Why is there such a shortage of mid-range high quality prepaid handsets at good prices? There is some opportunity here for a phone maker to grab a slice of the prepaid pie, by making an affordable phone (let's be honest, prepaid users are cheap or at least careful with their money), and making it cool somehow.

I guess two hundo isn't too much for a phone, but it's more than I would want to pay for that phone.

Oh well. Have you seen the HTC Pulse yet?
